Our Mission

At D&D Journey: Children With Disabilities Matter, Inc., our mission is to empower children and families affected by autism, ADHD, and other special needs through education, inclusion, and community support. We are dedicated to creating opportunities where every child regardless of ability can grow, learn, and shine.
We provide hands-on programs such as IEP navigating, autism and special needs training, parent-to-parent support, and family engagement activities that encourage understanding, advocacy, and joy. Through our community events, educational workshops, and outreach programs, we aim to build a world where all children feel accepted, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
At the heart of D&D Journey is love, awareness, and connection helping families find strength in community and hope in every journey.

About D&D Journey

Founded on May 4, 2022, D&D Journey: Children With Disabilities Matter, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children with autism, ADHD, and other special needs—as well as their families.
Our organization was inspired by the real-life journey of two amazing boys, David and Davion, whose experiences with autism sparked a mission to help families navigate similar paths with understanding, love, and empowerment.
Through our programs, we offer families valuable tools such as IEP navigating, autism and special needs training, parent-to-parent support, and community education. We also believe in the power of joy and connection, which is why we host inclusive family events like our Autism in Bloom Dance, Back-to-School Bash, Toys for Tots Christmas celebration, and other fun, sensory-friendly activities that bring families together.
At D&D Journey, we believe every child deserves a space where they can be seen, supported, and celebrated. Our goal is to build an inclusive community where families never feel alone and children with disabilities can thrive—one step, one smile, and one journey at a time.
